Fused glass is also called crystal solid art glass or melting glass. The fused glass is a glass hot processing technology, that is, the plate glass is melted and the depressions are formed. The fused glass has become the focus of the design unit, the glass processing owner and the decoration owner for its unique decorative effect.

The fused glass has crossed the existing glass form, fully exerts the artistic conception of the designer and the additive, and integrates modern or classical art form into the glass, making the flat glass produce various artistic effects of different concave and convex and different color. There are many kinds of fused glass glass. At present, there are fused glass bricks, fused glass art ornaments for doors and windows, large wall embedded glass, partition glass, integrated bathroom glass washbasin, finished mirror frame, glass art ornament and so on. The scope of application is very extensive because of its unique glass material and artistic effect.

The production of fused stereoscopic glass must have a hot melting furnace to produce, and about 40kW of the power supply. Some sand mould patterns need to be assisted by high-temperature paper and other materials. All kinds of patterns and moulds can be made by using refractory materials such as high temperature mud, refractory board, gypsum, high temperature cotton and firebrick.

The method of making all kinds of fused glass with quartz sand is to determine the thickness of sand and the size of sand according to the requirements of the pattern effect, and the thickness of sand is generally 1.5cm thick. When the pattern is painted, the glass can be put into the furnace by sprinkling the mold powder. In general, the stove takes about 2.5 hours, and the temperature is controlled at about 785 degrees Celsius. If the glass requires flat edges, the flat side should be kept well. The glass must be cleaned and the tin surface must be lowered.

The burnt glass must be cooled before it is washed out, otherwise it will crack easily. When the glass is not cooled, it can not be put together, otherwise it will burst easily.

The manufacturing process of tempered glass can be divided into two categories: physical tempering and chemical tempering. Physical tempering is to heat the glass to a near softening temperature, and then cool rapidly with the cooling medium, resulting in compressive stress on the surface of the glass. However, physical toughened glass can not be mechanically cut and drilled, so it is easy to self explode. Chemical tempering is chemical modification of the surface components of glass to increase mechanical strength and heat resistance of glass. The process is as follows: at a certain temperature, the glass is immersed in the molten salt, the alkali ions in the glass and the alkali ions in the molten salt are exchanged with the ions because of the diffusion, which makes the glass surface produce pressure stress, thus improving the mechanical strength and the anti hot vibration performance of the glass. It can be divided into two types: low temperature and high temperature. It is suitable for thin wall, irregular shape and precise glass products.

Fused glass also called fused solid sound absorption glass, using special hot melting furnace, plate glass and inorganic material as the main raw material, through the hot melting furnace to heat the glass to molten state (heating temperature is generally at 750 degrees centigrade), so that the glass form natural or required and various forms and stereoscopic patterns. Fused glass has a certain sound absorption effect, bright color, elegant style, through the combination of color and technology, give people a hazy feeling and imagination space, its precious artistic value is other similar products can not be comparable. The fused glass has remarkable advantages, rich patterns, strong stereoscopic sense, gorgeous decoration and brilliance. It solves the monotonous and dull feeling of the ordinary decorative glass facade, makes the glass mask vivid and satisfies people's pursuit of various decorative styles and aesthetic feeling. It is mainly used for families and large entertainment establishments, combined with high-grade decorative materials, and plays a finishing role in decoration works.

Because each glass manufacturer produces glass, the melting point temperature is different, so when processing fused glass, we should use the same manufacturer's glass as much as possible. If the glass of other manufacturers is changed, the temperature curve should be adjusted. The temperature curve is the temperature change process of the annealing and cooling after the glass is heated to the melting state. This will affect the quality and effect of the fused glass. This is also a point to be paid attention to when you choose and buy.

In addition, when choosing fused glass, we should refer to the selection of plate glass, for example, if the structure of glass furniture is well proportioned and square, it can't have any errors such as skew, distortion and collapse. At the same time, the texture and color of fused glass can be selected according to personal preferences and decoration styles.
